Skin has meaning

Known only to the eye

And from birth to now

You have been absorbing one big lie

 

I challenged you

To go blind

To love with your heart

And not with your mind

 

To give everyone

A fair chance

Ask a total stranger

For a dance

 

People can and will hurt you

Sometimes family, friends or lovers

If your own race hurts you

Do you never take on another

 

The past is the past

Try to live for today

Because come sunrise
