a country boys mind

 

the obstacles to enlightenment

one of the most ancient and profound journeys known to man

it is what we chose to embody

that will eventually determine our stand

is it easy for one and not for the other

simply because our tools of satisfaction lies either inside or out

or is it that we learn from dysfunctional and destroyed souls

what true love is supposed to be about

search for the very thing

that when found -- we can't identify

living in the physical pleasures or various forms of neglected gratifications

though taught from the heart -- the truth has been dressed up as a lie

what is love -- what is love -- what is love

f**k ---- i don't know

but to the best of my knowledge

i've been in it before

beyond this myriad form of life and death

is there an answer that we should know

i don't know and i guess that i can't care

to get an answer after i go

like halle said -- can you make me feel good

that's all the f**k that i want -- before i die

give me that good s**t --- that make my pen move for you s**t

be true to my soul and to my heart never lie
