A dead heart waits

My heart and my mind

Just can’t seem to get on the same team

Love won’t come to me

Because of what others read

When through my pores -- sadness bleeds

Funny thing, I wrote a piece called Do Not Resusciate, but it was from a total different point of view. This was a very interesting write, especially the second to the last stanza. Great job.
