Couch

I wanna sit on that couch

With your head upon my chest

Nothing fancy almost naked

Where two have come to rest

Where the screams of my soul

Can be heard and cared for

Where I can receive you

And your feeling I can explore

Where you are free

To slide your head down to my lap

Where we can be each others intervention

Right before we were about to snap

Where sounds stands still believing

And instructs time to do the same

Where a kiss atop your hair

Excuses and releases all blame

I want to sit on that couch

With my arms around you

A place where silence will speak

To tell each other what the other has been going through

after vision

I agree with Nirmala, such a warm and cozy piece this was. Full of love and care you possess, lucky woman to receive your love in all it's splendor.

What a common action with a universal meaning, but I think you seem to have said it more accurately than many - Where a kiss atop your hair excuses and releases all blame. Your poems breath of deep companionship, it is warm and cosy and sensual.
