blades of grass

blades of grass

A Poem by aftervision
"

love

"

Blades of grass

I watched you walk

To the edge of the river

Just so that I could

Watch you walk

When you stopped

I snuck up behind you to listen

Just so that I could

Hear you talk

I threw blades of grass to the air

Locking in the direction of the fall

Then stood beside you " to baste

In beauty " body " smell " and all

I have always seen the beauty

The precious and gentle ways of you

I have always placed you first

Even before I knew my love for you " to be true

To see you is to love you

To touch you is divine

So glad that you chose “yes”

When my heart asked you to be mine

after vision

the poem was...serene. It magically flows, very beautifully. Very nice imagery. Well done

You have such a natural, easy flow when you write about love. Your passion for nature seems to be just as strong as it is for love. I truly enjoyed this display of affection.
