Her

Her

A Poem by Black Ink

The weight of words from those who don't understand
Is the reason why bullying is the problem at hand
They don't see the pain behind someone's smile
Or how high their problems pile

They don't know her dad lost his job
Her brother has a brain tumor
They can't see anything through her thick fog
They decide to spread a rumor
The same way her uncle forced her to spread her legs

Now her younger brother has the future of being locked up or dead
Just because their father is never there
And the kids at school mess with his head

This is more than she can bear
The weight crushes her shoulders
But she can't fall
She's their soldier
She protects them all

Author's Note

Black Ink
If you see someone struggling help them, wether they want it or not. Too many people are dying from suicide and broken hearts. Share a little love, give a helping hand, and never take no as an answer...
