LyricsA Poem by Black InkMixture of songs, raps, and speeches that inspire me
Still breathing
Don't you think I'm not because you're leaving
Never going to see me grieving I'm moving up and away Ignore the bad and the good will come Don't think second best,be number one Spread some love, don't give to receive Strive to be happy and live to believe She's got light in he face don't need no rescuing she's okay She's got life in her veins, don't need no rescuing she's okay She said a little prayer and she found herself No S.O.S needed,no rescuing she's fine out there I will go down to the last round I'll be your strength to find you when you get lost in the crowd So I'll stand up stall and if by chance I fall Then I'll go down as a casualty of love I won't let you make the great escape I'm not gonna watch you checking out of this place I'm not gonna lose you, cause the passion and pain Are gonna keep you alive someday How do you sleep while the rest of us cry? How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye? How can you walk with your head held high? Can you even look me in the eye? We think too much and feel too little More than machinery we need humanity More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost I shall never let them see me sweat Promise to work for more 'til my very last breath Promise to blaze a path and leave a trail for the next And never sell out my soul for any number on a cheque I'm fat,I'm thin I'm short,I'm tall I'm deaf,I'm blind Hell aren't we all? © 2014 Black InkAuthor's Note
