THE LIFE I HADA Poem by AFRODITE STATHIFrom my poetry collection REBORN©. Image by Stathi Stathi©
You may say I look like mad
or even think I am trully bad. But I am just a simple sad cause I miss the life I had. When I was twenty, my hair were long, black and plenty and at my thirty, my middle name was mister flirty. Around my forty, my pretty wife became my life and at my fifty, I was the dad and Santa Gifty. Oh sometimes, how I miss the life I had, when I used to have a dad. Oh sometimes, how I miss my lonely me, the one I had before the we. Oh sometimes, how I miss our first kiss, when loving you was a wish. And sometimes, I trully wonder if you miss, the time you were a dreamy miss. You may say I am mister no, cause I say I don't know, when you ask me why I am sad, maybe I miss the life I had. © 2020 AFRODITE STATHI |
