A WALKA Poem by AFRODITE STATHIFrom my poetry collection REBORN©. Image by Stathi Stathi©
Wild flowers in the field, nothing that they need.
How i wish i was like them, how i wish i was a natures gem. Being free and peaceful, with life so full. Being in my role,to bring beauty to the world. Wild flowers in the field, now in my hands they are held. A sweet memory of nature,a colorful momenture. Powerful they are although so weak, do flowers cry or do they speak? Joy they give, what joy they get, what is their soul secret debt? Wild flowers in the field, i am from my heart so healed. Only the silence of the wind is heard and the love wounded bird. I want my hand to touch the sky,why we must die? Like a flower i once was young and by nature i was drunk. © 2020 AFRODITE STATHI |
