Death By Living

Death By Living

A Poem by AFLIII

If the God above were fickle and harsh, He'd look down on you and laugh!
You wicked person, wasted on lusts, your bod will soon turn to ash.

Repent, repent! The end is nigh! And all you have is death!
Return that which belongs not to you, and take for life, a breath!
For soon you'll hear the sounding song, you've lived and now you're dead.
For all is lost that once was loved, see now where want has led?

Though hearing these things and catching a glimpse, you seem to show no change,
Life worth living is not out of grasp, with help you may rearrange!

Though telling you now, what steps you should take, may not be the hardest part,
You should never forget, nor should you regret, where you place forever your heart.
Oh how you should love, oh how you should joy, at the unending life He has given,
My friend you have read my words so sincere, I do hope we shall meet in Heaven.
