the heartA Poem by rhea"Our heart are monsters. That's why our ribs are cages.""our hearts are monsters" that's what they say. for they are the ones that lead us astray they're what breaks bonds and tear up a home they're what hurt most when we're all alone. why, you ask I speak this way? for fate has taught me this the hard way. hearts are what harbor our truest emotions. emotions flow free and drive crude actions. words are spoken and deeds are done. people are hurt for its too far gone. sadness falls and loneliness imparts. who can you blame but your foolish heart? the worst thing about this silly heart? it hurts you most and tears you apart. how funny, Our heart are monsters. That's why our ribs are cages. © 2017 rheaAuthor's Note
