Celebrating the survival of the fittest,

The feel good factor?

Forgetting for the festive moment

The fate that awaits?

Or, could it be

The eternal light of an eternal star?

Startling joyously

Faces, who watching, waiting,

Cross desert places

To where time is pierced through and through

By a sword of pure life.

Shimmering, shining, eternal, tinsel,

Illuminating the universe

From the midst of beasts and straw.
