Beyond

Beyond

A Poem by afish
"

Man feels himself 'kept' down but most don't realise that gravity is not the problem.

"
I lift my eyes so high.
I stretch far out to clasp
To myself the stars,
To condense them
To a page of understanding.
Inscribed across night's black sheet,
Just beyond the reach of touch,
Scintillating cyphers shimmer and pulse.
Faintly I hear, just,
"Not yet for you,
Too far, too much."

Thank you Xuul - the meaning has been revealed. We need to understand how to live it.

I like this one. Creative use of words and thought. great word pictures. It's easier to understand for my poor brain than your other 2.
