What If...

Eternal tragedy of Man!

 What if...

The road never ends,

Or 'tis no more than a single step.

What if...

The captured fluttering poor soul,

escapes the iron bars,

Or she is destined to groan,

wearing this terrestrial crown.

What if...

This blazing golden chariot,

Strings its celestial beams back,

Or go on kissing the dusty face,

Keeping its eternal grace.

What if...

We are but in a dream,

A situation captivating our senses,

And some day,

Death wakes us up.

What if...

We see all our triumphs n failures,

Are nothing but a virtual reflection,

A motion picture!

Played on the screen of our minds

and

The Show is ended...

Great poem about life's great questions. Your third stanza doesn't make sense, but I could just be reading it wrong. Nice job.

I got that it was the beams that confused me, because I was tired and thinking too literally as in wooden or metal beams. I got it eventually haha...sorry bout that
