If I sit in silence admiring

The whisper of thin air

And someone happens to see

And wonder…

            Wonder why I am stationed here

            Simply existing

With a permanent smile

Upon my curious face

And the reason is not

Very obvious…

            Not obvious to anyone else

            But myself

And I release a sigh that

Is just as infectious as laughter

So all who surround me

Begin to smile…

            Then it shows that I

            Cannot conceal

This affinity between us

This inexplicable feeling

I receive whenever I think of you.

 

You speak to me

Through the breeze

Placing a certain comfort

Over me that makes me

Talk aloud or laugh uncontrollably.

 

The happiness I get

From just a simple thought of you

Gives me the power

To let others feel what

I am feeling.

 

You area representative of

My inner most thoughts

A sweet illness

That has taken me over…

            And wonderfully contagious.
