Work. Wonder. Write!

Work. Wonder. Write!

A Poem by Blue
"

Experience. Examine. Express.

"
Wrestle with wooing worries and wars.
Wage wealth of wombed wishes and whys.
Work.

Wallow in writer's wanton wanderlust.
Worship worthy wounds of wayward weights.
Wonder.

Warrant a wardrobe of weathered words.
Wed to wisdom's weapons.
Write!

Blue
I thought of playing with alliteration but it seems that I ended up writing a tongue twister with some depth. Well, I hope this makes sense somehow.

Smile :)

Haha. Thank you, Sandeep!
A very cool piece...I love alliteration, especially when it's done right, and you've worked it to perfection here...a lovely work that doesn't take itself too seriously, and a joy to read...well done Arzel :)

Thank you so much, Kublakhan! It's a joy to read your reviews.
Some great alliteration going on here, and you choose a good, uncommon letter to go with! The bit about Wonder above and beyond surpasses the others, the word play is top notch, and the usage of wanton wanderlust and wayward weights is some top-notch writing. Gems that you would have likely never thought of if you were not challenging yourself with a structure! (One of the reasons that I feel the modern trend away from structured poems is unfortunate, because it doesn't challenge you to create new combinations!) >_> My attempt at the idea seems to lack cohesion, even if it does maintain coherence. Withering Worries Wrack Waywardly Wiretapped Whispers Waxing Winter's Woes Whimsically With Wilding Wormwood Wherefore Wanes Witwanton Wyrds Wordbound! I now hate Ws...

Oh, and I love your description, goes great with the theme!
