Twinkle, Twinkle

Twinkle, Twinkle

A Poem by Blue
"

It's advisable to sing this in a slow, sad melody.

"
(The couple used to spend their nights stargazing.
Tonight, she goes back to their favorite spot in the mountains and sings this...)

[Note: It's advisable to sing this in a slow, sad melody.]

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...
Don't you wonder how we are?
He's not here with me tonight.
Please tell me I'll be all right.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...
Yesterday he went to bar.
With his friends, he drank some wine.
We all thought he would be fine.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...
He messed up with his new car.
Gone was he who is my love.
Is he there with you above?

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...
I am here and he is far.
Will he watch me with a sigh,
Shining brightly in the sky?

Twinkle, twinkle, little star...
Please bring back my missing scar.

Wow. Thank you for your visits on my page, Cassie.
A nice simple rhyme to a very familiar children's tune. Rather sad too, a good warning for those who drink and drive.
