A Writer's Prayer

Amen.

What shall I write, my muse?

What kind of ink abuse

shall I unto this paper bleed?

Dare write my fearless need?

What tale shall I expose

in poetry or prose,

scattered verses on a page,

language of my sanity in rage.

Guide my pen with fluid strokes.

Postpone your playful pranks and jokes.

Grant me an experienced hand

to tailor thoughts at your command.

Nice thoughts on a good topic. Writer's block. I solve my writer's block by listening to Cohen, Baez and Johnny Cash. Reading some good words and in most case. The block is gone. The muse can hide from us and we must find her. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
