Sonnet I

Sonnet I

A Chapter by Blue
"

on what I find sexy

"

No sexiness I find on externals exposed,

immodest offense abandoning respect,

a beautiful mind seduces me most,

alluring disposition of active intellect.

Mysteries existing and wonders to discover,

truth-seeker of what's behind universe's themes,

subject to muses' prompts--selfless surrender,

profound venture to human and celestial dreams.

Uncensored thoughts in plea for climactic tease,

demanding conception to immortal poetry,

put into alphabets by poet's urge for release,

portrait of sensual being of well-crafted artistry.

What world deems sexy, I fail to comprehend

'cause nothing gives pure pleasure than a literary friend.

I was a bit careless on this one. I just let the words out.

Ha... I like this Arzel.
I will admit I enjoy the external sexy a lot! Still, it is the core of the person I find will capture my heart...

My dad had an old saying, "Everybody to their own liking said the old lady as she kissed her cow."

This is true in life. We all have our personal "buttons" to turn us on and off or to turn the channel so to speak.

I happen to agree with you however, there is nothing so sexy as a talented, and flexible mind!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, David.
Nice, this is sort of a free-style for you and shows your mastery of words. This is not a poem you just breeze through, I had to slow down and read it to absorb your full meaning. I'm rather sure Shakespeare would have approved.
