Discrete Downfalls

Discrete Downfalls

A Poem by Aekmy

You seek the green trees, a warm breeze,
yet all you receive are the wilting
petals I manage to bloom.

You search for life, desperate for one high.
A train comes by and you're gone,
only to be forgotten.

You sing a song and I listen for too long.
Your voice is wrong in my ears
and I'm done sitting here.

Too many people are never satisfied... always thinking something is better out there and end up losing what they really needed. Great poem.

There is beauty is uniqueness. Embrace the strange or perish in the ordinary.
