The Lonely Learners

The Lonely Learners

A Poem by Aekmy

If you knew everything I were thinking,
sirens would be sounding off in your head like a nasty night in New York.
I can't explain to you the nightmares I see.
Talking about them makes them real and I can't believe.
The images burn my eyes, burn my soul.
You are the paint in my hand as I make a wish. I wish for you
boats of motivation and a locket full of determination. I'll create the brigades.
We'll fight our losses, turn the cheek on our fears. Easily could you get lost in my tears,
but if we go down, we'll go down together.

You are a powerful writer. I do not know what is happening in this one...but maybe that isnt a bad thing.

I read it 3 times looking for that meaning...

There is beauty is uniqueness. Embrace the strange or perish in the ordinary.
