What A Wreck

What A Wreck

A Poem by Aekmy

I'll keep my tongue in check,
be strong for you.
Your scent makes me a wreck.
What else can you do?

My heart skips a beat in your presence.
I always want an extra dose of you.
I've been building up to this, my whole existence.
You are my everything; like you knew

the first time I held your hand.
I felt like I was on top of our world.
We have the only galaxy; here we will stand.

You have a way of coming over me. You
release your feelings in an organized blob
of touching, breathing, and meaningful
promises. If your heart was black, you could
do so much damage to me; squish me in the
dirt and forget I ever knew how to hurt.

There is beauty is uniqueness. Embrace the strange or perish in the ordinary.
