Lust Lullaby

Lust Lullaby

A Poem by Aekmy

 Sleep my baby, sleep tonight

Rest your head among the stars

And do not peek or fright.

Luck is on your side

Oh can’t you see?

Oh can’t you see?

Rest of child, rest in peace tonight

Lay your head among the leaves

And close your worried eyes.

Death is by your side

Such a tragic sight

Oh can’t you see?

Curl your fingers in a way

That makes the god’s pray all day

For you are a special child

Whose halo sings with light?

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side

Dear child of the night.

Love me baby, just for tonight

I’ll lay my hand upon your heart

And never see day light

Again, for your life depends on me

On the blood

Oh can’t you see?

This really wonderful. I see this as an acoustic and I can just sit back and listen to, time after time. This packs a lot of emotion, but it is great!

Beautiful write.
A lot of emotion and you made it beliveable.
A lot of sadness but also beauty.
Brilliant write.

I really like this piece the font was small but that was the only flaw I could see. My favorite lines were,

"The grass isn't always greener on the other side
Dear child of the night"

I like the overall idea of the poem. ^.^

There is beauty is uniqueness. Embrace the strange or perish in the ordinary.
