Chapter Three

A Chapter by Aekmy

 Ava’s P.O.V

Gerard was prodding for information, but I couldn’t give him anything more than a blank face without feeling. I hated feeling this way and I didn’t know what brought it on. I just started feeling down.

“Maybe a little sleep will help.” I smiled painfully as I looked in his eyes. It seemed I was trying to convey a message between us, but our connection was too weak and nothing happened; he kept looking at me with a concerned face, but thought before he spoke.

“And maybe some food?” he inquired sheepishly with his hands.

I thoughtfully bit my lip and lightly clapped my hands before looking back into Gerard’s eyes. “Sure maybe some food.” He wrapped his hand around my neck and brought me closer for an Eskimo kiss. Happiness bubbled in my face and I laughed a ringing sound.

“I love seeing you happy.” He looked in my eyes, a connection was made this time, but one I couldn’t put in words, he smiled and then kissed me on the lips. Between each small touch I felt happier and happier.

“Thank you.” I whispered softly. “This has helped.” I sighed and pulled him off for a hug. We swung around lazily, inhaling each others scent, and smiling. I felt I hadn’t smiled in forever, yet I had been smiling but an hour ago.

“Frank you have to pick something.” I rolled my eyes and sat down on the nearest bench. We were all at a restaurant with a buffet, great choice, and he couldn’t make up his bloomin mind! Why didn’t we go somewhere with a menu? Everyone else had their food, but frank was the one holding us up. I sighed and rested my forehead in my hand. Gerard came over, laughing, and wrapped a warm hand around my shoulder.

“It is so much worse on tour.” He laughed again when frank and mikey started fighting over the last chicken tender.

“Is that something I might get to see?” I peeked at his smiling face through my falling hair.

“You would really like to go on tour with a five smelly guys in one bus and only five beds for oh say around six months?” he looked at me sceptically with a grin on his face.

“Well, when you put it that way…” I looked down at my hands. “Yeah I still wanna go.”

“We did have a date planned for after Christmas, like in February. We could do that.”

“Do you really not want me to go?” I sat up all the way and leaned my head on his shoulder. It was the first time in a few hours that we had been actually touching and it felt nice.

“Awe you really think that?” he wrapped his hand around my cheek and pulled me closer into his shoulder. It was so cute the way he held me like that, the way it made my hair fall to the side and he didn’t notice, the way it made me feel special because of the looks we got from the people passing by.

“So you really wanna go?”

“Yes sir.” I saluted him happily before finally getting up to the call of frank telling us he had at long last picked out what he wanted.
