Chapter Three

Chapter Three

A Chapter by Aekmy

 Ava’s P.O.V

The hot water released the knots in my back and helped me relax. After I was done I stood there for a minute, just enjoying the warmth, and someone knocked on the door.

“Ava, Gerard’s here, just letting you know.”

“thanks.” I smiled even though he couldn’t see it. Frank was so nice and caring. You could tell he really loved Gerard, whether they were brothers or not. I sighed, turning off the water, and wrapped a towel around myself tightly and shivered. With one fluid movement I swatted back the curtain, but screeched when I saw someone washing their hands in the sink. Gerard turned around and smiled apologetically, starting to dry his hands.

“hello.” He winked and put the towel down with a grin.

“Don’t ya know it’s rude to bother a lady when she’s showering?” I winked back and let him take me by the waist.

“Funny how you aren’t showering.” He poked my nose and I closed my eyes with a smile.

“But I’m half naked!” I protested. He found me funny and laughed along.

“You seem happier.” He hesitantly kissed my forehead.

“I feel a tad better.” I sighed and opened my eyes to find him staring straight into me.

“It’s so odd how you’re totally different now.”

“I like it.” I gently moved from his arms and started brushing out my damp hair. He stood behind me with a gaping look in his eyes.

“Alright, alright, enough with the flattery. Let’s go, you out, and me get dressed.” I politely kicked him through the door and locked it back, but dressed quickly in my most favourite pair of worn out, knees ripped, skinny jeans, and a plain blue shirt with a penguin kissing another penguin on it. Finally, I stepped out and breathed in the fresh hotel air. Lovely.

“Ava!” mikey yelled, came out from nowhere, and swung me over his shoulder.

“Mikey!” I yelled in sarcastic dismay.

“I can’t find you, where’d you go?” he turned around and around with me on his back and finally looked at me.

“Right here kiddo.” I waved and smiled cheesily.

“Oh, hey, I found you.” He grinned cheesily and set me down in front of Gerard.

“Oh, no, don’t set me down in front of him!” I yelled laughing, but turned around and wrapped my hands around Gerard’s neck. He fluffed out my hair and kissed both of my cheeks. I smiled with my eyes closed and hugged him tightly, breathing in his scent and only thinking of him. He pulled me as close as we could get and rubbed the back of my head while we swayed. In the corner of my eye I saw frank smile, laugh, and push everyone out of the room.

“You aren’t angry?”

“For what?” we remained in the same position, but he shifted his feet and I sighed.

“For arguing with you earlier.” He lifted my chin with his pointer finger and cocked his head slightly to the left with an awe-how-could-you-even-think-that expression.

“So you’ll still have me? Even after all of this.” I grinned sheepishly into his hazel eyes.

“Forever and a day.” He stroked my cheek slowly, making my face cold and tingly.

“That’ll be one special day.” I winked at him and stood on my tippy toes to kiss him; being the happiest I had ever been in my life.
