Chapter FourA Chapter by AekmyGerard’s P.O.V Once we were outside she pulled a pack of cigarettes from her jean pocket. “When did you start smoking?” “I really just do it off and on, but after I left it started. My parents kicked me out actually. When they woke up that morning they told me to pack and get the hell out. They told me I was a s**t and never wanted to see me again.” she laughed and took another breath. “Sounds interesting.” I was surprised how she could talk about it so well. “Yeah, so I found a place with my aunt and lived from there. Went to college and got a degree. Penny found me taking pictures by the lake and asked me if I had a job. Told her I didn’t and she gave me one shooting celebrities.” She looked up at me and smiled. I couldn’t tell if smoking had changed her, but amazingly her teeth still looked white as ever. I tried to smile back, but found it hard. “You still thinking bout it aren’t you?” “About what?” I kept looking out over the parking lot. “What I might be?” she kept her eyes on me. “No, the person on the phone. What did they want?” I looked at her firmly, but she looked away. “Honestly, I’m not sure. I keep getting a call from him, but I never let him get any further than a hello.” I sat down, still interested in her eyes, and took her cheek and turned her around. “Why do your eyes look like that when I touch you?” I asked; my voice was thick with interest. “It’s part of me.” She answered simply and blinked. Under my hand her cheek started to get hot. She flinched and blinked again. “Gerard, Gerard you’re hurting me, stop.” She gently plucked my hand from her face and placed it on my knee. “What are you?” I kept looking in her eyes and cocked my head. So did she. Her eyes twitched. “You really want to know don’t you?” she chuckled slightly and locked my eyes in hers. “I won’t rest till I do.” I smiled, still looking at her, and inched closer and closer until our lips met. It was a good thing we weren’t on any steps because I knocked her right over onto her back. The cigarette in her hand fell out when she wrapped her hands around my neck, pulling me closer. Her breath invaded my mouth and I ran my lip along her collar bone while I held onto her hips. She kept kissing me and kissing me. It felt like the first time, but maybe even better since I wasn’t drunk. She gasped loudly. “What?” I asked, frantic and rose up a bit from her torso. “Too much touchy.” Beads of sweat were sliding down her forehead. “So you like over heat when people touch you?” “Oh it’s so much worse, Gee, you just don’t know.” She gently pushed me up and walked around, fanning herself. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to loose control.” I propped myself up and brushed my shirt. “It’s not your fault. You just don’t know.” She stopped walking and walked toward me, practically crawling in my lap. Her nose touched mine. “You still want to know?” she tried not to breath loudly as she ran her lips down my neck. The smoke in her breath coated my nose. “Yeah.” “Meet me tonight.” © 2009 Aekmy |
