Part Two: Chapter One

Four Years Later ...

Over the next few years I went to college for a photography degree, didn’t meet another male soul, or listen to another My Chemical Romance album; not even when their newer albums hit the charts. Sweet revenge, Murder Scene, and The Black Parade had come out. Secretly, without letting myself, know what I was listening to, I would turn on the radio and let Teenagers run through my head. Those were the good times, but I had work to do.

“Hello, this is Ava Redde.” I said, rushed as I plucked my cell phone from my pocket without looking at the caller ID.

“Good evening Ava, dear, we need you. It’s sort of an emergency; bring all of your equipment.”

“Oh, alright you know I’ll do anything for you guys. Be there in twenty, Toodles.” I shut the phone off and jumped in my car, turned on the engine and hurried back to my apartment. I really love my job. I get to take pictures of almost everything. It’s so cool, but then they call me when I’m freaking grocery shopping. Ugh. Traffic wasn’t too bad so I got to my house in almost ten minutes. Inside, I changed into my purple skinny jeans with black pinstripes, mayday parade t-shirt, baby blue vans, and a hat with a small bow on the side. After I gathered my camera stuff I was ready to leave. Once I was done getting through traffic I walked through the building doors and set up. No one was really in here. I took out my phone and called Penny.

“Hey, love. Where is everyone?” I checked my camera lenses while she was on speaker.

“Oh we all got lunch.” I heard her giggle and things go silent on the other end. Lovely. I knew it.

“I’ll just run some practise shots while I wait.” I hung up before she could say anything. Ugh, she always did this to me.

“Oh dear we need you quick.” I murmured, mocking Penny. The camera was running fine, but I kept on cleaning it when voices started coming my way. I didn’t hear Penny’s amongst them.

“Hey, do you know who’s shooting us?”

“Uh no. why would I care?” they were definitely from here.

“Gosh that penny girl is clingy.” I stifled a chuckle and smiled.

“She’ll be back soon. You betta watch it or she might suck your face off.”

“I already thought she would.” They both laughed at stopped walking.

“Does it seem quiet to you?”

“You are so paranoid!” one of them threw their hands up.

“No I’m not.” The other one yelled back. I heard them sit down and sip on a coke.

“This is boring.”

I laughed out loud and jumped up from the floor. They both jumped and looked at me like I had come out from under a rock.

“Are you the only two?” I started walking over to the camera stand.

“Um, no. there’s three more.”

“I’m afraid I can’t recall your name.” I stuck my hand out to the shorter one.

“I’m Frank and this is Gerard.” we shook and he let go.

“I’m Ava Redde. What you part of?” I rummaged through a few papers for their file.

“A band.”

“That’s cool.” Something seemed to register in my mind, but it went away or maybe my mind pushed it away.
