Chapter Three

 Gerard’s P.O.V

I helped her up from the floor, but she let go too soon. A pained expression flinted across her face; it left as fast it came. I frowned inside, but let her walk forward. Her hair was short in the back. I looked down at her legs and her body. She was tiny! I didn’t believe she was anorexic, no, she was just too pretty and healthy looking.

“Ello governor, lovely day out don’t you think?” she winked at me and grinned; laughter was hard to hold back.

“Let me see it,” The man held his hand out.

“I’m afraid I can’t recall your name,” she tapped her chin thoughtfully.

“Ipod,” He emphasized his hand again.

“It’s quite lovely isn’t it?” her hands fluttered down to her plaid jacket and pulled out the ipod earphones, but the ipod wasn’t on the other end. She dangled the cord and frowned. “Drats, won’t you look at that? Doll, I’m afraid it isn’t here. Ran away I’m afraid. Sorry,” I had to hide my face and step in the back because I was laughing so hard. Frank followed, but the girl kept arguing.

“Man she is hilarious,” Frank chuckled again.

“Brits arguing are so funny,” I managed.

“And she’s hot,” Frank pointed out with a satisfied grin on his face. “I wonder why she had her ipod out in the open like that anyway.”

“That’s like asking us why we did stupid stuff in high school.”

“She looks a bit older, though. Like twenty,” Frank glanced back at her and so did I. she was waving her hands, yelling.

“She might be,” I laughed again.

Frank and I walked back on stage, grinning. I whispered to theprincipal that we only have a limited time. He shuffled his hands and looked back at her.

“Something come up, doll?” she batted her eyelashes.

“Stop calling me that. Go sit in your seat,” He walked off stage.

Ava’s P.O.V

I turned around and looked for the microphone and found it. Gerard didn’t stop me when I started talking.
