A Poem by dining alone

gut wrencher's got a fix
with her pleased
draped, satiated
this is gold
worn on the apple
deploys me, sold
she's bathed in sand
sewing fingers
back to the oceans hand
this is relation, sunken
wisdom, passion
slept off by the drunken

this is to be kept
i am ground pearl
and i am swept
used with water
i wilted while you slept

i hid in your blood
cultured your heart
tamed the cells
the agile art
i dined alone
found a new limb
called it the telephone

today is baby blue
you kept it from crying
like infants do
you make no contact
i bleed from your nose
wondering where days go
when i get closer
you're less sober
so i am disposed
