just me thinking about the love of my life

I didn’t think that I’d ever see you for real,

You even know how I really feel,

But I make it like its such a big deal,

With you my heart is sealed.

 

The laughter you gave me is so much better,

Now I really don’t need her,

Just try and become the best because its you that I adore,

You make me feel like no one has ever before.

 

All the pain that I use to have has passed,

I’m sure if we loved it would last,

I’m not trying to go fast,

Because I know you wont  treat me like trash.

Nice poem, but this line could mean that you don't show emotion when youre with them which would be the frist thing i would think of when i read this. but i know what you're geeting at.

Like this poem. Ture, new love is like a breath of fresh air. I love that whole first month of getting to know someone.

A new love always does feel refreshing. It seems like falling in love the first time. It gives that power, always so.
