Going Away

Going Away

A Poem by Adrian Smith
"

My dads dying this just came to my head

"

Just when you think your life will get better in time,

The world starts to get worse and one of the people you love disappears,

You think life will become just fine,

But in reality its a bear mistake that leads to fear.

The one who use to play, laugh, and talk to you has gone away,

Your heart starts to change pase and crumbles,

Time goes by slow as August turns to May,

Your stomache in pain and rumbles,

No one can hear you as you cry in the pillow,

The door is closed and you try to mute your self but it gets worse,

You want to scream and bellow,

You don't want to see the hearse,

Your body hurts and feels regret,

You don't want to suffer so greatly,

The soul wants to die,

You never wanted to hear this.... mainly

You wanted to run and fly,

Gotten Shot down by death,

Try to hide away every pinch of sadness,

because you know it won't get any better,

All you hear is your breathe,

It just drives you into madness,

There were quite a few grammar problems in this poem, but overall it worked really well! Good work. There was a lot of feeling in the piece.
