Having said that, here's some new movie titles coming your way in theaters (or direct to dvd).
'Slumdog Millionaire- Going to America' - Malik and friends, along with an unscrupulous agent, journey to America on a promotional tour. He soon lands into trouble in New York as he is arrested by Homeland Security on the suspicion of being a terrorist. With the help of a 'jaded Police Inspector', Malik not only is he released, but the true criminal (his agent) is caught and helps foil a diabolical terrorist plot. While in jail he also befriends an orphaned Pakistani immigrant named Ibrahim who has been falsely accused of working for Al-Qaeda.
'Slumdog Millionaire- Hollywood Bound' (in the U.S. version. 'Ballywood Bound' in India)- This last part of the 'Slumdog' trilogy explains how Malik's story becomes a movie. Irony and hilarity abound as he sees his story, that of an orphan from the slums of Mumbai, being warped by unscrupulous producers out to make money. Desperate to prove that his story is worth telling, he befriends a jaded movie director and his daughter (portrayed by Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson and Madison Pettis) and with their help his true story is told. Also along the way he falls in love with one of the writers (played by Demi Lovato). Kal Penn makes a cameo as the actor who will portray Malik on the film. Dave Archuleta sings.
'Slumdog Millionaire- a New Beginning' -No one from the original cast. It tells the story about how another orphan, this time a girl named Manisha, is about to experience the biggest day of her life. With the whole nation watching, she is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest her on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid, AND A GIRL, know so much? Desperate to prove her innocence... well, you know the rest. Available only on dvd and blueray.
'Yo-Dog Billionaire' - The story about Malik Johnson, an African-American orphan living in Chicago who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one decision away from winning a staggering 20 million dollars on 'Deal or No Deal'. But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much? Desperate to prove his innocence, friends and family call on a "jaded" President Obama to pardon him.
And finally-
"Cum-Dog Millionaire"- In this porn version of the movie, a girl tells a jaded reporter of her rise from an innocent babysitter to a pornstar as she is about to set a new bukake record.
