I can not stop, I can not breath

With you around I can not leave

Its been back and forth

This same old game

We’ve been here before and it’s a shame

That I can not leave you

Leave you behind

That I can not stop you from invading my mind

That when I sleep I dream of you

And now it seems you dream of me too

But I can not go back

I can not ignore

The fact of the matter is, we’ve been here before

It wasn’t enough

Well, my love hasn’t changed

Through the good and the bad

That’s the one thing that’s remained

I’ve been your friend, your lover, your confidant and then…

I was your problem, your obstacle, and heart ache to mend

I’ve tried my best

I gave it my all

Now remember you see, just try to recall

Yes, we’ve loved and laughed and tried and cared

But remember the fights and the tears that we’ve shared

Remember it all

Not just a fantasy

Then look me in the eye and tell me if you truly want me.

I know I hurt and I know I long

But this right now

Can’t you see its wrong

And remember you chose this

Hearts are not a game

Seeing you like this it caused me to despair

It would be better for the both of us if we just didn’t care

Yes, it would be better, easier too

But still a day does not go by with out a thought of you

But thoughts are different

It’s the actions that count

It’s the 1 the 2 the 3 strikes your out

Its what’s been said and what’s been done

And no, I’m not saying I’m not a guilty one

But my heart is sore now, its been beaten and bruised

And my wariness shows result of its abuse

don’t ask me what I want

don’t ask my what is right

And please dear lord god, may I not dream tonight

Cause all that I feel and all that I know

Is that I love you to death

But the games gotta go.
