THE BRAVE ONES

 

Of life I know little
Of love I know less
For truths not spoken
Lies only in regret
But for words unspoken and thoughts not shared
Holds the preventable outcome of a soul left bare
I've seen what's become of those
Brave women those brave men
who spoke words meant to be unsaid
like the scares made and the tears once shed
All that's left is to heal Pull back and mend
Of life I know little
Of love I know less
but to those that are brave I wish you the best .
