The Unwanted Children

Woman in love she vowed I Do

The man she loved He said I Do

For this woman I Do meant I love you

For this man I Do meant I want you!

Came the first child; that was fine

The second child, oh not so good

The third child, no longer was He in the mood

Came the fourth child and He was gone!

This woman then lived in despair

Four children to raise in such thin air

There wasonly one person who'd take her heir

An aging grandmother she always care!

For these children grandmother was destitute

She was 75, children were 6, 4, 2, and 8 months old

Neighbors were aghast but they were mute

In 1975, Grandmother passed; children left in the cold!

With Grandmother gone, what happens then

Lived the street, no aid, no one, so what

As adult, people prosecuted for what the've seen

Unwanted children are nuisance and that's that!
