you gotta promise not to break no matter how far you are bent.
nothing on this earth is strong enough to break you. sure you might be lying in the streets or sitting in the gutters, and when the night sky arrives you might be terrified, but while you're on your back in the darkness, remember to look up at the stars. befriend them. you are never alone.
the weight of the world can press and bend you, but only God can actually break you.
and when that time comes, pain will no longer be clenched between your teeth. tears will not streak your face.
but for now, remember that you have specks of light to look at in the darkness. remember who you are. know that a savior is beside you, that way you'll feel a little less lonely.
