RemembranceA Poem by aditya gawadea poem about college days and growing up
The plant has grown
From the seed that was once sown My mind has so beautifully flourished N the souls seems mildly nourished The adult kid walks in as a fresher Thinks college might be a strange pressure However college soon seems so free Through his new eyes he stares at the world to see He makes new friends Learns both fun and worriness have no ends Learns to imagine and to love Soaring above like a gay dove The classroom isn't just for studies And the canteen seems better with buddies U cant conquer only with books And you can't win hearts only with looks Class isn't the only place to learn Relationships and numericals are always difficult to discern Curricular must co-exist with extra-curricular Or else life seems to move infinitely circular It takes time to fix a broken heart Getting up and moving on fast is a very difficult art It takes effort to truly socialize And the personality needs to stay customized Itz a gem to make a person smile During difficult times you just can't go senile It feels proud and happy to be known Feels like you have really grown You walk in as an adult kid Just a creature of a common breed You step out as a unique man Who says to everything "Yes I Can!" College life gives you substance In facing challenges it gives you assistance And makes u reject ignorance College is the remembrance © 2014 aditya gawadeAuthor's Note
