You didn't take your eyes off her the whole night. Every time she looked to see if you were looking you were already staring.

why do you deny that you love her? what is so scary about being with her?

she doesn't say anything when you say you'll call but never do. she doesn't get mad when you start acting distant.

She adores the sound of your laugh. She wonders what changes between the hour you left her bed and the hour you wake up.

You can't blame her for not answering your texts anymore, you did that to her.

You change the game so many times she has to start protecting herself now.

She has to keep her hopes low and expectations even lower. 

It's the only way she can hold onto you.

When you are with her you watch her every move, how can you possibly say you're in love with someone else?
