Pedestal

You're on my pedestal. i compare everyone to you now. I thought I was growing, moving on but then you came back and even though it was just for two days it was more than enough time to put me right back where i started.

I wouldn't normally hold on for this long or try this hard not to forget, but you are showing signs of reciprocated feelings and for whatever reason you are keeping those under lock and key.

I will be here waiting because no one else can be you,
