The Dam

The Dam

A Poem by stargirl23

Glossy and white, black graffiti decorates the center.

Salty water pushing behind it cause red cracks to appear.

Every so often, some of that water leaks through.

It forms ovals that jump a black, barbed wire fence

And cascade down the face of a cliff.

That was really really nice...it is different than anything I've ever read before and for some reason I feel like it holds so much more feeling than what it actually says (if that makes sense haha) but your imagination is very beautiful and clear..and your description was very simple yet showed a vivid image of the scene in my mind! Excellent work.
