I’m just mad at myself right now because I was so naïve

So clueless to your scheming ways

So many secrets I shared with you

Now you use them against me everywhere you go

How could you be so heartless

How many souls have you devoured this way

Or is it just me you target

I never knew someone could hate me so much

Wondering what the f**k I did or didn't do to deserve this treatment from you

So it’s really true what they say

 That there’s a thin line between love and hate

I never thought you would do me like this

Now I only have myself to blame

But next time I fall for a woman

I will make sure she is nothing like you

Women indeed can be cruel. Just shows how people change. Sometimes it's subtle and we only notice when they've morphed into something we don't recognize.

I think anyone could be perceived as being cruel at any given time. Sometimes it's real, other times it's imagined. This wasn't meant to be a judgement or personal attack on any particular gender or individual. It's just an emotion I wanted to describe in words to the best of my knowledge.
