i worry about herA Poem by victor adeniransave nature whilst she couldI WORRY ABOUT HER What if there was another world I could live in, a world like this But a world more mature, with sanity, meaning and peace We are all up an about, doing evil and making Mother Nature cry But the question I ask is why? If she had a choice, she would choose never to carry us on her back She gave us everything we wanted, the things we created are what we lack
I worry about her and I fear that I’m alone Mother! Why do you choose to stay when you have the right to go? The best things in life are for free The trees the lands the oceans and everything we see This best things are the things you gave For that reason, we choose to send you to your grave
I worry about her I swear I do But to lie and say that I am innocent only makes me a fool I take you for granted just like everyone else And the thought of this only brings me to tears © 2017 victor adeniranAuthor's Note
