‘for You.’

‘for You.’

A Poem by addiissonn

All of these thoughts are excerpts

From the poems I can’t write about you

For I do not have the pieces for them

You took them when you walked out the door

The door to my body, my heart, my mind

I cannot make these works whole anymore

You, fuel, are what keeps my fire alive

The smell of a fall scented candle

When the prayers finally pay off

Your exit became writer’s block to me.

addiissonn,

Do the losers turn back?. Only a writer can assume it and make it happen. The creation not only an art but a sensibility beyond intellect. That's why writers are always under apprehension about the outcome. The passage of the exit is too embarrassing for the reader as well as the writer. The way it is put forward with the possible door and never ending despair is the matter to be remembered all over. The , outcome , am sure , be of a result as above.

exceelent attempt

carry on........

I like the idea of this poem & how whoever this is about really affected you. it's makes me think about the saying "don't make someone your everything because once they're gone you'll have nothing" if you think about it, you still have something left to say about them even if it isn't so good anymore.

i love the idea of someone (or something, who/whatever this poem is about) being your only muse -- them being the only thing you could genuinely write about. plus, i feel like "the smell of a fall scented candle" was perfect for this poem :)
