different types of pain

a lot of people say that the worst pain you will ever experience is either getting kicked in the balls, or having a child. which to me sound pretty painful, except i only have the possibility to experience one of those types of pain.

but i dont think that people count some certain pains that you've caused me.

there are the good pains that i get sometimes,

like the times that you make me laugh so hard i have to clutch my chest and keep from peeing myself

and when you hold on to my hand so tight that it cramps up and hurts like a b***h

and when i realize that i am so in love with you that it hurts

but there are also bad pains

like on the cold rainy november nights when i was mad at you and made you leave

or when you wont answer any of my texts or calls

and on the off days where you leave me in the bitter cold on my front steps with your words hanging in the air,

"i dont care, leave me alone right now."

but i would take a million door slams in my face

no returns of my calls or texts

or being left out in the rain on those nights

if i could have you back in my arms

they say the worst pains are getting kicked in the balls or having a baby,

but what about the pains

when the love of your life has left you, but unwillingly and can never come back even with how much you beg and you plead

because those pains dont hurt the outside

and even though everyone says youre warm to the touch

you feel an icy cold throughout you
