What I want  (Parisian Gold Fish dub)

 

If poetry is not

Tactile

Lush as the

zoological parade

delicious

as rain in the sun

Visceral

Like cutting into an onion

It is not great

 

It must

drip from the page

So that you pause and assess its

Images

And sensation

 

It must forgo argument

And use that which is deeper

Than argument
