Denomination

Denomination

A Poem by Austin Davis

Denominations struggle standing tall-
Within a universe, surrounds all
Contemporary only to itself, of faith and distance
Existence is meant to spin, rotate and witness
Except for they who are duplicates
Self-proclaimed masters of translation
Single-minded mortals, demigods of humanity

-Upon the unison of creation, founded by foundation-
Manufactured as one, singular, then there after, infinitesimally minuscule
Single factor out of entry, in a whole of many
Through birth of twin doorways: one bright, another not

-Whether to call upon light, whether to watch time unlock
To take a chance with duality
The feel of many faces through unity staring back
And the all too often tick-tock familiarity
Of someone else's hands' monistic symphony
Replaying God
