Of A Multiverse of PossibilityA Poem by Austin Davis
Walking alone in the hot summer rain is an unsung melody
Wet hair and brow and unrelinquished flame She dances ahead of me unrestrained Where tall weeds thrive at the uneven asphalt and cracks in the concrete, like passersby I see myself there with her walking in stride Perhaps in another dimension, or in another life Reflection whispering to me as I stroll by: Of a multiverse of possibility, that possibly, I've passed unkind © 2019 Austin Davis |
