Whispers of Congratulations

Whispers of Congratulations

A Poem by Austin Davis

Life, our horror

Solidifying awe, death and terror

How feeble we are, then, lying frozen

And thereafter, how feeble our intention

The most recent of faiths

Lesser angels gliding through Heaven

Hunting our terror-stricken faces

With whispers of congratulations

Poignant, but in your vision very well spelled.
It makes me to want read more of your work.
