life

life

A Poem by Frozen Alone

life its self fuels this hate

i take hate to a whole new plate

there is no one to calm this rage

i take rage to a whole new stage

everyone causes me pain

and it stays with me like a stain

but mostof all i feel sorrow

it hurts so bad there is no tomorrow

and as i take my final breath

and gracefully embrace death

i look back at my life

and remember the torture and strife

so as i start to slice my wrist

all the while knowing i wont be missed

It is difficult to find reason to hope when the walls come closing in. Short of breath you grasp for one last bit of joy yet the room just gets darker. These emotions are shared by many , even though we tend to think that we are alone in our pain. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. I really like that you wrote a poem about death and titled it life. There is a dark self image that fuels anger inside and slowly you drain your soul of its light. Nice progression and flow. I also wriote a poem on this subject that you might like called "Train station goodbye kiss" Nice work.

I love your rhyming! It truly captures life's hold on a person.
