Veins of Fear

Veins of Fear

A Poem by Ada
"

The poem explores themes of vulnerability, anxiety, weakness, and the fear of being consumed by overwhelming forces beyond one's control.

"

My lungs are black, my heart is pure

My hands are scarred

Tattered from the weight of my own madness.

Toxins run through my veins,

Because I can’t face the silent watcher

I tell myself I’m strong"

But the truth is, I am a lie

A coward that won't even step into this game,

Into the ring where the shadows are waiting to swallow me whole.
